I bought this radio to use in the garage and out doors on the patio and on the dock at the lake. The sound quality is fantastic the volume is more than needed for out doors . I like the looks of this radio over the newer Milwaukee radio. The battery is a little pricey but it lasts about 8 hours with normal volume usage and recharges in less than one hour. I may buy another rdio so I can leave one in my garage and take another to the lake!!

The guide is heavy duty all right, but Milwaukee needs to either find a new Chinese supplier or fire the inspector at the current plant. The guide rods had crude plating and surface imperfections. They wouldn't fit into the calibrated edge guide when trying to assemble the unit. It took a hammer and file to make it fit together. Once this was done, everything worked as it should.

I agree with many of the reviewers that as delivered this guide is difficult to adjust, however, I applied a small amount of Molycote to the adjustmet thread and sliding compound to the attachment rods and other sliding surfaces and the unit works great. It is a shame that many products today are shipped incomplete with respect to lubrication and adjustment but globilization and lack of company pride allows otherwise goon products to be shipped in a JUNKY state.

I have just received my router edge guide. It fits great. It works as advertised. Fine adjustment is just that. You use the fine adjustment to slowly fine tune your measurements. The instructions are vague but you don't really need a manual to figure it out. There is a third knob on the bottom that allows for the fine adjustment that moves the aluminum t guide in a shuttle. You loosen the two side knobs to get it to close to your measurement and then tighten them down. Then you loosen the bottom knob (not really pictured in the photo) and you turn the fine adjustment knob. This will allow you to dial it in to your exact measurement. It is that simple. It does what it says. I strongly disagree with the negative reviews and I am just getting started in wood working.

In reading some of the previous reviews it seemed just ok. After recieving this product im not sure why. I feel like Milwaukee did a great job with this edge guide. I work with furniture mostly. This edge guide is not so bulky that it interferes with your work. It does not have complicated frills like the Bosh and is not plastic like parts of the DeWalt (which i own). This edge guide is just like all other Milwaukee products...durable and made to last. The core is aluminum. All other is metal. To adjust the fine micro you need to loosen only ONE knob that is hidden in the picture that is just below the aluminum body. Once this is loosened you simply turn the metal screw to adjust. Once adjusted secure it there by tigntening the ONE knob and your done ! There is no need to loosen all screws like i have read? As these are metal on metal parts out of the box it helps to put some light oil or WD40 for smooth action.

I have recently used the new batteries and without a doubt see the improvement in performance. I use them mostly with my cordless drill and just like others have mentioned the batteries and charger do not fit in the drills case. I modified my plastic case by cutting the battery area a little larger and can now fit both batteries in the case(no battery on drill). I store the charger separately. I retired my new Hatchet saw because it never had enough power with the 18v nicads. I tried the new batteries on the Hatchet and the tool is brought back to life. The lights on the battery to show charge level is nice and functions well. I may purchase more of these if I catch them on sale. Four stars only because they don't fit in the case.

Finally, a powerful, yet small enough tool to use. Most of the time access to the work is a much bigger problem than power in a drill/driver. If power is the only issue, I can use my 1/2 Inch hole shooter plugged into the grid. The batteries charge quickly and last under heavy use. Haven't had the tool long enough to know the longevity. Charger works quickly. Case is good for protecting the tool and make it easy to carry around. This tool is small enough to eliminate hand driving of most screws in small spaces.

I just got back from a job screwing dozens of 2 1/2" #12 screws through mutliple boards. This little thing handled the job without a hick-up. The power enclosed in the tiny, egg-sized batteries is phenomenal. And, as with the bigger tool, the spacious case is a delight for holding all sorts of extra stuff. Bravo to Milwaukee for all the little touches that make these drills a joy to use.

I was drilling a half inch hole in a 4x4 when the battery quit. Could not get the bit out. Took battery out, went to charger and got spare battery, no problem. Shows fully charged on charger. Put battery in, and it is totally dead. Put previous battery in charger and let it charge. Took an hour off of work, but got bit out and continued on. Drill is less than a year old. Batteries have been charged about three or four times. Called Milwaukee and they gave me the phone number for a service center. Went to service center expecting to get a replacement under guarantee. Battery had to be sent to Memphis, Tennessee because Milwaukee makes the service centers buy the replacements. What a joke. I thought I bought an American made and owned Drill. Batteries are made in Korea and assembled in China! Milwaukee is not the brand it used to be, in my opinion.

No downside to this change at all, in fact, the trusty Milwaukee 18V drill seems to run a trifle faster and keeps working for days on end before recharge is needed. I have been in the finish carpentry business for years now and use all types of cordless tools. I bought this cordless set to replace my Bosch Impactor driver. I have always been a big fan of Milwaukee tools, both corded and cordless, that being said, I am not married to one particular brand. These drivers are not meant to be used for heavy duty work, but are rugged enough for continuous all day use. These tools are very durable and reliable. I use them several times a day on every thing from small deck and trim screws to self tapping and machine screws. The impact driver is for the medium jobs, like short deck screws and self tappers. The screw or subcompact driver can be used to remove and replace smaller screws but not much else. If you are looking to build a deck or run 3 inch screws with this set you will be very disappointed. However, if you are looking to drive 1 1/2 inch deck screws, self tapping tech screws, or replace door hinge screws, these are the perfect tools! I love them! No one company has a lock on the market for cordless pocket tools, but with the many other tools Milwaukee makes that take the same batteries and the price that Amazon sells these kits for, its hard to find a better deal!

This saw will plow though just about anything or it can be configured to be gentle and precise. The orbital action is completely tunable for zero to full orbit. The stoke speed can be controlled by dial & trigger. The saw is solid and well built. It shreds through wood & nails & just about anything else.



The worst thing I can say about the saw is that the case is not amazing. I miss the old metal case from the original Sawzall.



In short this is a great saw.

I borrowed this from a friend of mine to take some old cast iron plumbing out of my crawlspace. All kinds of folks tried to talk me into using something else to cut the cast iron drain pipes (2"+ thick).



I bought the Diamond grit black blade for this, and it -D-E-S-T-R-O-Y-E-D- those pipes. In a good way. Sliced through it in maybe 3 minutes (i had read some people say a sawzall would take me an hour to do each cut). Cut through some 1-1/2 in copper pipe as well. Super clean cut.



I will be purchasing this soon, and all i can say is nothing in my house is safe, haha

A bought my first Milwaukee Sawzall around 1980. I think they were around 5 amps then. (I still have it kept in reserve.) I then moved up to a Super Sawzall around 1989 and rarely used my old one because the `Super' version was so much better (Although it was bigger and heavier). It ran flawlessly with exception of brush and cord replacements for many years. It went down around a year and a half ago at which time I bought the latest incarnation of the Super version.



I was a little put off by a few of the reviews I saw saying they are now made in Taiwan and are plastic and cheaper. But I bought it anyway. Over the years I had tried a few other brands that were out on jobs and they were all 'junk' compared to the Milwaukees.



After using this latest 15 amp version of the Milwaukee Sawzall I am impressed with the extreme power, smoothness (low vibration), speed, and lighter weight. A superior experience from a superior line of industrial grade portable power tools.

Bought this saw, and was impressed... then, after about 27 days and about an hour of use, the motor burned up... Used amazon's return system, and sent a replacement 2-day fed-ex. I was very impressed with the way amazon took care of the issue. Still haven't put more than an hour of use on the saw, but seems to be good.

I'm in constant use of my tools remodeling and repairing my rental properties. The reciprical saw I bought through Amazon was everything I have grown to expect from Amazon. It was true to the high ratings given by earlier reviews. Quality saw, great power with smooth action while in use and and the blades are easy and fast to change. This saw replaced a Porter Cable I have been usings for close to 20 years.
