Overall this product is pretty good and I had not major complaints, except that the center socket doesn't seem to like all 12V plugs. Of the 4 devices I had running (3 in the Wagan and 1 in my other vehicle socket), only 1 would work in the Wagan's center socket. The others kept going off and having to be readjusted. I'm not 100% positive of why this is, but the center port does seem to be shallower than the others. Aside from this issue, the item has functioned as expected and for the price, it is hard to beat.

First of all, as a splitter or 3-way socket (whatever you like to call it), it works great! I read other reviews that said "too tight" or "too loose". I pluged in a few things in this spliiter (GPS, radar dectector, converter, cell phone charger). All of them fit in the splitter like gloves.
Secondly, the batter indicator works great too. I guess my car battery is not as high-capacity as the others. If I turn off the engiene and leave GPS, radio, and a few things on, I can see the battery level drop in about 10 to 30 minutes. So it conveniently reminds me what my car battery charge is.
Oh, one last thing, its own power cord is not too short, though not too long either. It's about 4 to 5 feet, I guess.

It powers great when its connected.
Problem is things loose electrical connection if they are barely bumped. This restarts the DVD player or whatever device is plugged in.

I use this product to power an iPod charger / FM transmitter, GPS and Cell phone charger or radar detector. It always works perfectly and having the battery readout is a nice plus. Anymore - a single socket doesn't cut it and I was tired of constantly swapping devices. The little unit mounts easily and eliminates the time share dilemma for devices that use your car's 12V for power. Highly recommended!!!
