 "very handy tools" 2010-06-24
By N. Hundley
This is a very handy kit, not very strong bits but good enough to get the job done.

"Nice Set for price, Quick delivery" 2010-06-02
By Useful Moon (IL, United States)
I was pleased with this set which I used to disassemble some hard drives. Good quality and very fast delivery.

"comfortable, magnetic, and have lots of tips" 2010-05-28
By M. Mathews (USA)
I bought this mainly for the Torx tips, which come in small to large sizes, but once I began to use the other tips, I couldn't go back to my old set. The handle is very comfortable compared to metal ribbed ones. The tips seem strong, but like most, if you want them to last long, use the correct one for the screw you are removing. Overall, a good buy and I'm happy I bought this set.

If you ever needed these type of bits you don't have to look further. Great deal and fast shipping.

 "A Must-Have for Computer Repair" 2010-04-21
By B. Pedersen
I work in Tech Support and am constantly taking computers apart and putting them back together. For laptops, PDAs and cell phones this is an absolute must. It is the best deal for yor money too. I carry it with me everywhere. I recently bought another so I could have one at home and one at work. The tips hold up to a lot of wear and tear too. I have tried others and they either strip the screws or ruin the bit pretty quickly, but these have lasted for the past 9 months of regular to heavy use.

"Every nerd needs this set" 2010-03-05
By Teazingweezer (Fargo, ND)
I bought this set for my laptop and it has fulfilled my needs. The quality maybe a little lackluster, but for the price I can't complain. Every tech geek needs this basic set.

"Product Recieved is not the one advertised" 2010-02-11
By R. Wheadon (Atlanta, GA)
The picture advertised needs to be changed. The one star is simply because the sets I purchased are worthless for what I needed them for due to the wrong picture online.

This set of screwdrivers does not come in the very resilient slide case shown in the picture. You will recieve a set of those screwdrivers in an open face box with just a little strap across the center of screwdrivers. While the cheap-o box that is now shipping is fine if you are throwing these on a shelf at home, I recently lost a set of the pictured screwdrivers which were perfect for carrying in my laptop bag. The big difference is the new packaging will allow cords and other items to come into contact with the sharp screwdriver blades... which is a bad thing.

Ordering online is all about the visuals presented and in this case the product pictured does NOT match the product shipped.

 "Perfect for the office" 2010-02-05
By Andrew (Detroit)
The box it comes in is the perfect size to fit in your desk draw. I love how the screwdrivers feel in my hand when I used them for the first time. I used them without a problem and they are perfect to keep around the office.

 "Inexpensive and Perfect" 2010-02-03
By C. Thomas (Broonfield, CO)
I find myself using these little screw drivers more and more lately, as was proved recently when I went looking for them to change out the batteries of a flameless candle and encountered the dreaded screw enclosed covered battery plate that so many battery powered items seems to have nowadays, but the set I already owned could not be found anywhere. So I ordered another set and at this price suffered no pain in doing so.

I should tell you that the day this second set arrived I found the original set of course. But No worries. Given how often I use them one set is now in the tool box - WHERE THEY BELONG - (saying that out loud for my husband to hear) and the other one is in my desk draw, where I will always be able to find them, when I am looking for them. Ha!

 "The best!" 2010-01-31

I use these every day as a computer repair tech and these are a must have for anyone who works on laptops, gadgets, or anything else that uses small screws. I've also used them on my mp3 player and GPS; worked like a charm! The rubber grips make the screwdrivers very comfortable and nearly impossible to slip out of your fingers. They also hold a nice magnetic charge IF you have a rare Earth magnet handy. The bits are very narrow and a decent length (about an inch) which helps me get into places some of my fat boy screwdrivers can't get to. The sliding case is also very nice and durable. I feel like a dork for saying this, but even after all these months of using this set, it's still cool to open the case every time. I've been using this set for nearly a year now and don't have a single complaint about it.

 "good value" 2010-02-21
By Spencer Bailey
These work great and are very accurate but after using them for a couple weeks the tips are kind of misaligned a little. but for the money something like that is to be expected. i'm very happy with the purchase.

 "Nice Tool" 2010-02-17
By Douglas W. Hansen (Maryland, USA)
Nothing wrong with this in 3-4 weeks I've had it. I worried it would be inaccurate at this low price, but so far, so good.

 "Great for the price" 2010-02-13
By A. Gray
Caliper seems to be well made, just as some of the other reviews said, which help me to buy one. I took it to work with me & compaired it to a coworkers $150 craftsman and they looked a lot a like. But mine had auto on/off and his did not.

I have not had it long, but so far so good. Can't go wrong for the price.

I gave it 5 stars.

 "ACCURACY FIRST" 2010-01-23
By Jerry H. Bond
First impressions are the most important. In the case of this digital caliper, that's unfortunate.

See the two attached images showing the entire Owner's Manual. It consists of one page printed on front and back and is for a different caliper. One image shows 2 screws on the front of the battery compartment. On the actual digital caliper, the screws are located on the back, side by side. The deep-well screw is for the battery compartment. The shallow-well screw removes the wheel and retainer. The Owner's Manual does not show this. Also, the battery inserts the same as in most watches with the positive (+) side facing out. This information is not included with this caliper, but it has been with every other quality digital precision instrument I've ever purchased.

The impressive product description on the product-information page sold me. However, none of this enticing product information is included with this caliper. No where on this caliper or in the Owner's Manual do the words Titanium or Stainless Steel appear.

I have two quality dial calipers. Both have "Hardened Stainless Steel" engraved into the metal just like the caliper pictured in the Owner's Manual.

With this digital caliper, it is left up to the consumer to completely trust all of the information listed on the Amazon.Com product page. In the past, I have found the product descriptions of other items made in China not to be entirely correct. I like to see important features like high-quality metal either embossed, engraved or included in writing along with the product.

The next thing I noticed was what seemed to be a slight bow in the scale bar. I measured it to be .050" or 1.27mm along the length of the scale. Luckily, it did not affect the accuracy or the movement of the slide bar. This suspected flaw might very well be designed into the tool for some unknown reason, but I seriously doubt it.

My other dial calipers are perfectly straight.

I tested the accuracy using brass objects of known dimensions and also against my dial calipers. All were in harmony. This caliper is accurate. It feels solid and is polished. The only blemishes and nicks I found were on the ridges of the deep well housing of the battery screw.

The plastic snap-shut case is durable and the shaped-foam interior affords adequate protection.

I will get good use out of this instrument. In many of my projects like reloading or clock work, I double check every measurement using two different calipers. Accuracy is the most important feature, however, this caliper is not 5-star precision quality.
