When I installed this laser guide on my Hitachi miter saw, it induced a wobble in the blade. I removed and reinstalled the laser guide at least 6 times, and each time, the blade wobbled. The laser certainly worked, but I'd rather have a true running blade, than a wobbly blade with a laser guide.

I bought this "to try it" and it turns out to be a great tool! I use it on my Delta #36-235 Sidekick Miter Saw

installing crown molding. It does a perfect job of aligning the blade with the cut marks. Makes the whole job a pleasure; if you can say installing crown molding is a pleasure!

What I have to say is mostly redundant with other reviews, but there is strength in numbers so I'm writing anyway:



1) Installation: dead simple on my DeWalt 713 10" saw. The saw's original arbor bolt is plenty long and there is more than adequate clearance from the blade guard. All that's involved is removing the bolt, inserting the laser between bolt head and blade, then retightening.



2) Visibility of laser line: very good. I have used this only in my basement under strong fluorescent lighting, where it is more than adequate and has a width less than a mechanical pencil line. I suspect it would be fine in reasonably bright sunlight, but have not tested this.



3) Accuracy and reproducibility: very good. As noted by some reviewers, the laser line as installed shines roughly a kerf to the left of where the blade actually cuts. Whether this is due to distortion of the case at installation (as suggested by others) or something else, I cannot say. There is no physical reason it couldn't point directly to the middle of the actual kerf, but this doesn't particularly bother me since it is completely reproducible over many successive cuts. The bottom line is that, if you can accurately mark a piece of stock, you can accurately cut it with this guide.



4) Reliability: has worked for 25-50 hours of cutting without fail.



Overall, it gets 4 stars rather than 5 from me only because of the very minor offset issue. A nice, simple product that works reproducibly well.

This was recommended to me by my son who works in construction. It is compact, very quiet, and easy to carry. Quickly achieves working pressure. Really a sweet tool all the way around. I've had (and have) other compressors which I hate to use just because of the noise and bulk. The fact that it came with a very nice 18-gauge brad nailer was a bonus as I was in the market for one anyway. The compressor alone would have been a good value at the price. Highly recommend this product. (I do suggest buying a more user friendly hose than the tightly coiled one that comes with it.)

I just received this kit a few days ago. Used it quite a bit yesterday. First, the compressor is really nice. Very quiet! Light and compact too. I was shocked. Compared to my twin stack compressor, this is just a whisper. It keeps up fine with the brad nailer and a stapler I was using. I was working pretty fast too. I wouldn't run my framer with it, but that's not its purpose. I am very impressed!



Now to the nailer. It is a good nailer, but falls short on one thing. The nose piece is too wide, making it impossible to sink a nail when toe nailing. I'm planning on filing mine down to more of a point. Seems to sink nails otherwise, though.



If I could seperate, I would give the compressor 5 stars and the nailer 3.

Recieved my senco package today and tried it out. wow..you'd have to have a screw loose to not like this super package. beautifully made and so noise free. really the senco brad nailer is a free throw in. good grief its handles nice and what a price for whats with the package. After lugging around the deafing pancake beast, i'll use this unit for my trim and small stuff. Sure i know it's limitations BUT like who would'nt? It's not going to run a framing nailer, look somewhere else..



If you want a sweet lightweight powerfull compressor with pleanty of power for trim work and basically a free $90 buck 18 gauge brad nailer, plus air hose, fittings and even new saftely glasses look no further. Save your back, get a lot of bang for your buck and be impressed.

I purchased this compressor kit to do minor things around the house and air up the occasional tire. I have a larger compressor but it's too noisy for the early morning low tire, or the all day projects. I live in a quiet neighborhood so I don't want to make a bunch or racket. This compressor works well for what I need and fits on a shelf when not in use. I have not had it that long so I can't comment of the life of the compressor. It looks like a standard mini compressor similar to what you see in airbag installations on cars and trucks, so I would imagine I can find the parts to rebuild it if it breaks. My only complaint would be the time it take to build air pressure. If you have to use it to air up a tire it can take five to ten minutes to complete the task.

First Bosch reconditioned tool I have purchased and so far it is just as good as a new one. I have used it to cut wood, laminate, and metal and it hasn't stumbled yet. Batteries are small, but hold a charge fairly well, considering their size and they charge quickly. It isn't made for big jobs, but is very handy and convenient to use. I am so glad that I went with a cordless model. When I was cutting the laminate, my wife asked why we hadn't gotten one sooner! So far, great and would recommend it to any home handyman.

Finally, a powerful, yet small enough tool to use. Most of the time access to the work is a much bigger problem than power in a drill/driver. If power is the only issue, I can use my 1/2 Inch hole shooter plugged into the grid. The batteries charge quickly and last under heavy use. Haven't had the tool long enough to know the longevity. Charger works quickly. Case is good for protecting the tool and make it easy to carry around. This tool is small enough to eliminate hand driving of most screws in small spaces.

After delighting in my decision to buy a big Milwaukee hammer drill recently, I decided to buy one of these for my wife to use with her property management company - it is light and small enough to literaly fit in her purse. Of course, I have used it exclusively since!



I just got back from a job screwing dozens of 2 1/2" #12 screws through mutliple boards. This little thing handled the job without a hick-up. The power enclosed in the tiny, egg-sized batteries is phenomenal. And, as with the bigger tool, the spacious case is a delight for holding all sorts of extra stuff. Bravo to Milwaukee for all the little touches that make these drills a joy to use.
